Question: I have a problem with towels – they smell of mildew no matter how many times I wash them. Bleaching the white towels has worked, but since I can't bleach the colored towels how do I disinfect them?

Question: I work in a 400-room business resort hotel in southern Malaysia. The bed linen has a bad odor when it goes to the floors, but they do not smell before they leave the laundry department. What causes this? Can storing warm linen in an air-conditioned room or pantry cause the linens to smell?

Imperial Laundry Acquired

RACINE WI. — Imperial Laundry Systems has been acquired by CMJ Partners, a private investment firm based in Vero Beach, Fla. The facility launders hospitals and hotel goods in Illinois and Wisconsin. The new company will be called Imperial Laundry Services and it will remain in Racine.
