Maintaing A Safe Laundry Room

Metal Detector Conveyors Eliminates Metal Chips In Shop Towels

BURBANK, CA – When Aramark Uniform Services began experiencing problems with metal contamination after laundering towels, they found that the cause of contamination emanated from areas such as machine shops and metalworking shops where metal chips and curls became embedded in the towels.

Steam Safety Pop Valves

Boiler safety valves are little understood, often incorrectly installed, and usually neglected. That is a general statement, and as with most general statements, must not be taken as universally true. However, there is enough truth there to warrant some discussion of the valves. The terms "pop valve," often applied to safety valves, is not a bad term in that it accurately describes the action of the valve.

Meeting Inspection Requirements (Part 2)

Emerald Textiles Chosen As Linen Services Provider For Eisenhower Medical Center

SAN DIEGO, Ca. — Emerald Textiles™, a Southern California commercial healthcare laundry provider, announced its selection as exclusive vendor of linen rentals and services for Eisenhower Medical Center.
