GIRBAU Acquires the Controlling Interest of Jean Michel to Strengthen Product Offerings in Global Markets

OSHKOSH, WI -- Girbau, S.A. acquired the controlling interest of Jean Michel, an industrial finishing equipment manufacturer located in Aix Les Bains, France. The acquisition will expand Girbau’s product line offering and strengthen the company’s position in the global commercial laundry market.
Jean Michel specializes in manufacturing linen handling equipment that is designed specifically for industrial laundries such as linen sorting systems, folders/cross folders, spreader feeders, stackers, rail systems and other linen handling systems.

“Jean Michel is known throughout the world for its high quality equipment and superior knowledge in manufacturing industrial linen handling equipment. The products are a perfect complement to our Girbau washer-extractors, drying tumblers, tunnel washing systems and ironers.”
